The ON-IT Guidelines aim at defining quality criteria, processes and rules for the implementation of effective remote work-based learning models in higher education. By combining existing resources (desk research), and data coming from experiences mapping (field research) they will seek to improve curricular internships to include the practice of online internships, thus ensuring a significant work-based learning experience. 

The Guidelines will consider the whole internship system, therefore including pedagogical elements, as well as practical and administrative issues (such as i.e., tutors’ roles, insurance, etc.).

The Guidelines will be piloted through real cases of internships and traineeships that will be activated and analysed during the project’s life span, to identify potential critical points and main learning needs.
